The Helping Hooves Prairie Horse ride for 2016 will get underway today at Spruce Woods Park. This is the fifth annual ride for the organization that donates one hundered precent of their donations and pledges to Helping Hands for Manitoban's with Breast Cancer. The organization started in 2011 shortly after founder Pam Glover lost her daughter to breast cancer. "We started the event due to nobody really in Manitoba that is fundraising for people.  The group we fundraise for, Helping Hands FOR Manitobans with Breast Cancer, they are the only ones in Manitoba that actually do that kind of thing and we are the only ones fundraising for them." said founder Pam Glover. Helping Hooves runs out of glover's residents in Ste Anne Manitoba.

The ride is taking a bit of a different route this year. Glover explains to reporter Rochelle Rawdon how things have changed.
