The Heritage Home for the Arts in Killarney is soon to start their spring programming with both online and in-person classes and workshops!

Arts Administrator, Jane Ireland says they’re very eager to get back to providing classes for all ages, with more workshops starting now in March.

Ireland says the upcoming Spring Quarter is when they’ll be ramping up their programming, from April to June.

“We’ve got tons of classes for youth and adults coming up, and we’re very excited to get back at it, and I think other people are too," she says. "People are signing up for the Spring Quarter, so that’s great to see!"

The arts centre will continue to offer the online instruction for those who prefer to learn from the comforts of their home.

“We didn’t want to stop the programs where some people learn better digitally, or for what ever reason aren’t able to come in person, so we’ll have both going. But I think people are really looking forward to getting back to some art classes.  There is the social aspect of it and the learning.”

Ireland says they’re trying to provide more free workshops with a variety of different mediums.  “We’re starting to do more partnerships now, which is wonderful because it expands what we’re able to offer,” she adds.
