Prairie Mountain Health Media Release -  Grandview Health Centre temporary suspension of services ends Monday

Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) advises that hospital and emergency services at Grandview District Hospital will resume Monday, December 21 at 8:00 a.m.

Emergency Department services will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The temporary suspension was implemented November 26th to support additional human resource needs at Grandview Personal Care Home (PCH) as a COVID outbreak was declared at the PCH.

Staff from the Grandview Health Centre were temporarily reassigned to the Grandview PCH to assist in providing care and support for care home residents and their families.

PMH is pleased that the situation at the Personal Care Home has sufficiently stabilized to allow for the resumption of emergency department and acute care services at the Grandview Health Centre.

PMH would like to thank health care staff in Grandview for their flexibility and support of the residents of Grandview Personal Care Home.

PMH thanks the community of Grandview, and surrounding area, for their patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.
