Bruce Piercey (with sunglasses) speaking with other Samaritan’s Purse staffers in Kathmandu.

It was April 25th that the news of a 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal reached us all -- a fresh 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal early yesterday, killing dozens of people in the Himalayan country and neighbouring states, as many buildings already weakened by a much bigger quake last month were brought down. Samaritan’s Purse Canada Asia Projects Director Bruce Piercey is still in Kathmandu and he joined us on the Morning Show from Nepal... and shared with us that the need is still so great, especially since this most recent quake.

Bruce is encouraging us to head to their website to keep up to date with their work in Nepal and to donate -  www.samaritanspurse.ca. But more importantly he said to keep the people of Nepal in our prayers.
