The Manitoba legislature has been in session now for about two weeks. The budget, which includes a 422-million-dollar deficit and money for front-line services and infrastructure, has been the centre of debate so far.

The Opposition Progressive Conservatives voted against the budget, but were easily defeated by the N-D-P's majority on Tuesday. PC leader Brian Pallister explains some of the reasons why his party voted against it.
