Work is expected to start this summer on Boundary Coop's new card lock fuel facility south of Boissevain.

General Manager Ryan Polnik says the new site will cost about $1 million to construct. He says the new card lock is expected to increase the volume of fuel being sold at the facility.

Right now diesel fuel makes up about 60% of sales at the cardlock just north of Boissevain. Once the new card lock goes into service the existing card lock will be shut down.

Polnik says the existing card lock will close once the new one opens and he hopes that will be in October of November of this year.
