The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will meet the B.C. Lions in the CFL's West Division final Sunday at IG Field and the Toronto Argonauts will host the Montreal Alouettes in the East final. Nathan Rourke threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns as the Lions defeated the Calgary Stampeders 30-16 in the West semifinal. Walter Fletcher and Dominique Davis scored rushing touchdowns as the Alouettes beat the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 28-17 in the East semifinal. 


The Hapnot Kopper Queens and Linden Christian Wings captured the Neelin Spartan Dig varsity volleyball tournaments. The Kopper Queens beat Westgate 20-25, 25-15, 15-12 in the girls final. The Wings defeated Gabrielle Roy Les Roys 25-19, 22-25, 15-10 in the boys final. The host Tigers beat the Virden Bears 25-18, 25-20 in the final of the Reston junior varsity girls Fall Classic volleyball tournament. 


The Carberry Plainsmen, Hartney Blues and Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks were winners in the Tiger Hills Hockey League Sunday. Troy Graham and Brett Hammond scored two goals each as the Plainsmen downed the Souris Elks 7-4. Mark Derlago had two goals and two assists as the Blues defeated the Melita Bisons 7-3. Taylor Sanheim scored seven goals including five in the second period as the C-Hawks beat the Minnedosa Bombers 9-3.


In the Westman High School Hockey League - Kai Bennett, Conner Graham, Rayan Sprott and Nolan Janz did the goal scoring as Boissevain/Souris doubled up on  Hamiota/Rivers/Elton/Strathclair 4-2. Jack Oakden had both goals for the Huskies. Porter Ewert had four goals and an assist as Vincent Massey bounced Sandy Bay 11-1. 
Connor Martin and Josh Archambault had three goals each in the Killarney/Wawanesa Raiders 8-3 victory over the Deloraine/Hartney Colts. Jaden Browning-Lozinski scored in overtime to lift the Virden Golden Bears past Crocus Plains 4-3.


The defending Manitoba Female U18 AAA Hockey League champion Westman Wildcats scored three times in the final four minutes and defeated the Winnipeg Ice 5-2 at Bell MTS Iceplex. Hayley Kolosky had two goals for the Wildcats while singles went to Kelsey Huibers, Sophia Anderson and Karlyn Gudz. Westman netminder Grace Glover made 36 saves. 


Alex Limoges scored his second goal of the game 3:15 into overtime as Manitoba edged the Texas Stars 2-1 at Canada Life Centre. Moose goaltender Oskari Salminen made 32 saves in recording the win. 


Brad Gushue defeated Byeongjin Jeong of South Korea 11-3 in the gold medal game at the Pan Continental Curling Championships in Calgary. Kerri Einarson beat Tabitha Peterson of the United States 7-5 in the bronze medal game. Satsuki Fujisawa of Japan outscored Seungyoun Ha of South Korea 8-6 in the gold medal game.
