This week MCC Manitoba Executive Director Ron Janzen has been biking across the province for the third Recycle Thrift Shops Tour. Like in previous years, Ron is stopping at every MCC Thrift Shop in Manitoba to say thanks for their integral role in MCC work, and also promote a specific cause.

This year's Recycle Journey for Justice is focusing on MCC's support for restorative justice programs, specifically those offered through Initiatives for Just Communities, and in particular Circles of Support and Accountability also known as COSA.

Jennifer Schmidt and Natalya Ilyniak work with COSA, and were at the Altona and Morris stops of the tour. Chris asked Natalya to tell us more about what they do.

CoSA is one of four programs operated under the umbrella of the MCC started organization Initiatives for Just Communities. We continued our conversation with Jennifer relating one of COSA's success stories.

And a special hello to MCC Manitoba Executive Ron Janzen who will wrap up the Recycle Journey for Justice today (August 28th) with stops at four MCC Thrift Shops in Winnipeg.
