April 7, 2015
Police assisted with a breach of peace complaint in Deloraine.
 
Police received a report of threatening text messages in Boissevain.  The matter was unfounded.
 
April 8, 2015
Police received a complaint of a scam where someone had sent money to Africa to purchase a dog in the United States.  Unfortunately there is nothing police can do to get the money back for the complainant.   The public is reminded that if something sounds to good to be true - it probably is. 
 
Police are assisting with a credit card  fraud in Cartwright.
 
Police are investigating a theft of prescription medication in Killarney.  The matter is still under investigation.
 
April 10, 2015
Police received a report of a break and enter to a business in Hartney.  Cash was stolen and some damage done to the building. 
 
Police assisted with a matter under the Family Relations Act in the Killarney area.
 
April 11, 2015
Police received a report of mischief to a vehicle in Hartney.  The matter is under investigation.
 
Police received a dispatch of a workshop on fire in the Municipality of Boissevain-Morton. Police, Fire Department and EMS attended. The structure was a complete loss. The fire was deemed electrical. 
 
April 12, 2015
Police assisted with a matter under the Family Relations Act in Cartwright.
 
April 13, 2015
Police received a report of a break and enter to an abandoned house in Killarney had been broken into and vandalized. The words RED CREW had been sprayed painted in the house.  The matter is being investigated and items seized at the scene are being tested for fingerprints.  
 
Police assisted with a matter in Killarney where a mischief had taken place.  The matter was resolved without charges.
 
Police assisted with a matter under the Family Relations Act in Boissevain.

Criminal Record Checks and Vulnerable Sector Searches:
Our goal is to complete these checks in a timely manner, however please plan ahead as they can take up to 3 weeks to complete.
Please also remember that Criminal Checks and Vulnerable Sector Searches for volunteers must provide a letter from the organization stating their volunteer status or there will be a $10.00 fee.
Criminal Record Checks for employment are $10.00 each.
 
Police would like to remind the public that if anyone requires fingerprinting services, they must make an appointment at the Killarney RCMP detachment.  Drop-ins cannot be accommodated.
 
We would like to advise that the business hours of operation at the Killarney Detachment are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
 
The Boissevain RCMP business hours are Monday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
The Deloraine RCMP business hours are  Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 
The general public is encouraged to attend during those hours to ensure someone will be here. It is also recommended to call ahead, however, in the event of an emergency, call 911 or the emergency line.
