All that's left to make it official is the paperwork. I'm of course talking about the Harvesting Hope World Record attempt which took place Sunday afternoon at the

Eileen and Jerred RubleManitoba Agricultural Museum near Austin. 139 of the 148 threshing
machines on site worked for the required 15 minutes, to break the previous record of 111.

One of those machines came all the way from Hanlontown, Iowa. Jerred and Eileen Ruble made the trip with their 1895 vintage threshing machine. Reporter Rae Hathaway asked Jerred how they ended up participating in Harvesting Hope.

We also spoke with Stan Eichhorn of Stettler, Alberta who had the oldest vintage threshing maching at Harvesting Hope... from 1887.

And we also checked in with even Co-Chair Elliot Sims just moments after the record was achieved to get his thoughts on the day.

The final numbers are still being tallied on how much money was raised, but needless to say Harvesting Hope will go down in the record books for a lot of reasons.
