After adding a recreation district to the municipality last fall, Liza Park has been busy.

The Deloraine EDO and Recreation Manager has been bringing new programming to town while creating new branding for Deloraine-Winchester.

Park shared what programs will be running this spring.

"Gymnastics will be starting in town after Spring break I guess. I've got some softball and baseball pitch clinics happening and we have some yoga happening."

Meanwhile, she explained she is not only busy with planning recreational activities.

"I am looking at doing some new branding and brochures and stuff for the community," said Park. "We are an amalgamated entity now so we have a new logo. I am working on a new brochure, going to attend the home show, that is kind of where I am at with that side of things. I've only had one council meeting so far this year so I will be looking for some direction from them as to where we should go next."

Towns from across southwest Manitoba will promote their communities at the Brandon Home and Leisure Show from April 10th to 12th at Keystone Centre.
