Arrest Warrants:

A 23-year-old male was arrested at his Westaway Bay residence yesterday afternoon on the strength of a warrant for arrest for failing to attend court.  The accused was processed and released and is scheduled to appear in court on June 27th for this new charge.

Later in Saturday afternoon, a 14-year-old female was located at her residence and arrested on the strength of a warrant for arrest for failing to comply with conditions of a release order.  She was processed, returned to the custody of her caregiver, and is scheduled to appear in court on June 25th.

Possessing Stolen Property:

Just before 10PM Saturday night, a male was observed riding a bicycle in the 1600 block Princess Avenue.  The bike was recognized as one that was reported stolen last week.  The 36-year-old male was arrested for possession of stolen property, and later released on appropriate police-imposed conditions.  He is to appear in court on July 14th.

Breach of Court Order and Warrant for Arrest:

At about 12:13 AM Sunday morning, a vehicle stop was conducted in the 2600 block Victoria Avenue.  The operator of vehicle was found to be the subject of a warrant for arrest, held by the Ste. Anne Police Service, for six counts of failing to comply with conditions of a release order.  The investigation also revealed that he was committing additional breaches by possessing a cell phone, and conditions associated to that.  He is held in custody and will appear before the court this morning.
