Welcome to our final Christmas Made in Manitoba of the season on this New Year's weekend as we bring to a close our month long sharing of all sounds of the season. Our last guest this year has joined us before under her given name, Christina Colyn. In recent years, while reflecting on the future of her music career, she made the decision to change her stage name, adopting Ollee Owens, which has ties to her grandparents.

Her album is playfully titled "Home for the Ollee-Days", and includes some familiar songs, but also some that may be new to you.

Ollee grew up in the town of New Bothwell, located near Steinbach, but has called Calgary home with her family for about a decade. On the program, we take a moment to reflect on those Christmases past in Southeastern Manitoba, how she came about her new stage name, the album itself and more!

It's Ollee Owens on the final Christmas Made in Manitoba of the season, and you can enjoy our full conversation with her plus a couple of songs from “Home for the Ollee Days” below.
