It's a Made in Manitoba debut this weekend, with Slow Leaves joining us for the first time.

After three albums under his own name, Grant Davidson, he debuted as Slow Leaves in 2014. Since then, he's released five albums, including his most recent "Meantime", which came out at the end of June.

The Winnipeg based singer-songwriter has a folksy sound that is definitely dabbled with a sense of nostalgia for the 1960s and 70s. And from top to bottom, "Meantime" is Davidson's project. He curated every aspect of the music and its presentation, including being the multi-instrumentalist, producer, cover art designer, photographer, and video director.

What it was like to balance all of those demands while still moving through the creative process is part of our conversation tonight, alongside the story behind the name Slow Leaves and the theme told over the course of the album "Meantime".

Thank you for joining us for another Made in Manitoba, and the debut of Slow Leaves
