The excitement of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games reached a final peak on Sunday, as nearly 40,000 people -- athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials, and games supporters gathered for the closing ceremony.

Dave Blatz was there as a trainer, one of 17 Manitoban's at the games -- and he is back on home ground. And how was his experience at the games?

Now, as good as it was and as exciting as multisport games are,  they take a certain amount of sacrifice. And even though being at something like the Pan Am Games sounds pretty glamourous -- it's long days, it's extended time away from home, it's exhausting, and if the trainers don't get our athletes ready to compete -- it's not good. So... just like athletes have a life span in sport and then, retire...We wanted to know how long will Dave continue to do this.

Congratulations to all of our Manitoban and Canadian athletes for a successful run at the Pan Am Games in Toronto! And thanks Dave Blatz for the work you do, to keep our athletes in great condition!
