Officers sprayed with gasoline during arrest

Police arrested 5 individuals, including 2 adults and 3 youths during a warrant arrest on Long Plain First Nation Saturday afternoon.

Long Plain First Nation: Members of the Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) attended to the 90 Block of Keesh Drive in Long Plain First Nation.

Officers had received information that Brent HOULE, who was wanted on outstanding warrants was possibly at this location.

When MFNPS officers arrived, Houle immediately fled on foot. When officers caught him a short distance away, Houle tried to disarm an MFNPS officer of his electronic control device (ECD). The RCMP was called for assistance and attended immediately.
