If the Brandon Wheat Kings were a brand-new team entering the Western Hockey League now in 2023 what could their team name be?

That's the question posed to Wheat Kings fans for the December 1st Home Game against the Regina Pats!

... The Brandon Bravehearts .... The Brandon Storms ..... The Wheat City Strongholds ... The Wheat City Superhero's ... hmmm...

For ONE NIGHT ONLY, they are changing things up like never before to re-brand the team for that one game, with new Jersie's, new logo, new colors to take on the Pats!

The Wheaties joined the WHL back in 1967 and ever since they've wore their gold and black colors proudly under the banner of the Wheat Kings, both at home and abroad.

Director of Game Day Ops & Community Relations, Chris Falko, says they've had great response from their fans already since the launch of this incentive and will have many names to sort through to find the perfect fit for this fun incentive!

"We're going to continue to gather all of the top names and, pouring through the responses so far it's been great! We're loving people's creativity," shares Falko. "Our fans are really having fun with it!  So, we're going to take all that and then we're going to internally discuss it.  We want it to be a really fun, cool night!  But for now, we're just asking for more submissions."

To submit your new team name, visit www.wheatkings.com, or visit them on any of the social media platforms.

"I hope people have fun with this," notes Falko. "This is not like a full team re-brand, it's not testing out future names, or anything like that. This is just one night to just have fun with everybody."

"We love the name, The Brandon Wheat Kings, and we take a lot of pride behind it, and there is a ton of history behind it. So, it's just for one night to have a little bit of fun!
