You might want to keep an eye on your fuel levels this weekend, to support a local organization that will benefit from next week's Fuel Good Day, September 19th.

When you fill up your fuel tank next week Tuesday at a participating Co-op Gas Bar in Western Canada, Co-op will donate a minimum of five cents per litre of fuel purchased to a local registered charity or non-profit organization. All grades of gasoline and diesel fuel are eligible.

However, if you're filling up at the Boundary Co-op Gas Bars in Deloraine, Boissevain and Killarney, Co-op will donate 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold to community organizations, AND $1 for every Co-operative coffee and slushie sold at each of these locations!

This year's recipients of Boundary Co-op FUEL GOOD DAY:

Deloraine Co-op Gas Bar:  Deloraine Minor Ball is raising funds to upgrade and maintain their ball diamonds and dugouts

Boissevain Co-op Gas Bar:  Westman Animal Rescue is collecting funds to help support their animal rescue program

Killarney Co-op Gas Bar:  Killarney Service for Seniors is raising money to continue supporting seniors in the Killarney area

"If you can wait until you're kind of on 'empty' and let it get down there and fill up your tank on Tuesday, we'll be out there and will happily pump your gas for you," shares Boundary Co-op Marketing Manager, Cheryl Rushing. "We are a full-service Gas Bar!  Also, come out, we've got Bar-B-Que lunches at our Gas Bars as well. So, pick up a burger lunch with us too, and 100% of those proceeds will go to the organizations and some of these groups may have a few extra special things planned as well."

In 2022, Co-op members and customers across Western Canada raised more than $650,000 for over 195 local organizations and causes – all in a single day!   All of the proceeds from Fuel Good Day are invested in your community – benefitting local schools, community centres, libraries, hospitals, food banks and more.
