Brandon University's new information technology server room was unvelied on campus Tuesday morning.

Federal and provincial funding of $562,000 went into the facility. The project included relocation of the university's I-T server from a basement location to the top floor of the Brodie building.

About 200 professors and librarians rely on the system for teaching and research purposes.

B-U President Dr. Deborah Poff says the infrastructure support is critical in keeping Brandon University's information technology and infrastructure functional for a 21st century campus.
