An open house is planned for mid February in Boissevain where area residents are invited to come and talk about recreation and the community’s plans.

The meeting will give participants a chance to find out more about future recreation plans and to give feed back.

Head of Council Judy Swanson says it’s important to include as many people as possible in those discussions. “We’re hoping covid rules will allow us to go ahead with the open house. People need to have a look at what we’re planning to do and talk to us. It has been a tough time trying to do planning because of covid.

If the meeting doesn’t go in mid February council will hold the open house but at a later date.

“I think if we spread out and everyone is vaccinated we should be okay to go mid February" said Judy Swanson.

The recreation open house is scheduled for February 16th at the Legion Hall in Boissevain. The meeting will start at 7:00 pm.
