In its latest crop report, Manitoba Agriculture, Food and Rural Development says that seeding is now complete, with the exception of some greenfeed crops.

Warmer temperatures over the past week allowed producers to make good progress on weed control operations, which will remain a priority as the crops advance.

Fungicide applications in winter wheat for leaf disease control and suppression of fusarium head blight has also started.

The report also notes that dairy producers have started first cut haying operations.
