Greetings from TMBC!

Things have been so busy since moving to camp in April and lots of setbacks with the 2 blizzards, ice storm and rains that have made outdoor work very challenging.

We are super excited to be moving forward with plans for on-site summer ministry.  As mentioned in our newsletter last week. We are grateful for an amazing spring crew and for unexpected encouragements in various forms. God is at work and we know He has amazing things in store.  Our most urgent prayer requests are below.

1. UPCOMING EVENTS: In May we have 2 Rental groups, Workbee (28th), Summer Missionary Training & Wall Climbing Certification course. June 4th we celebrate **TMBC’s 75th Anniversary & Dedication, followed by our JOY Camp, 9 School Field Trips & several Rental groups (amidst the summer preparations and clean-up)    (**We would love to have many attend this special celebration. Please RSVP tmbc.ca or call the camp if you are able to attend)

2. CAMPERS: For registrations to continue to come in and for God to prepare hearts to be receptive to the Gospel. For wisdom & sensitivity to the various needs of each camper. God knows every heart & we trust Him to orchestrate as we assign cabin leaders with campers. We are praying to be able to provide a safe camping experience.

3. Pray we are able to have some of the displaced Ukrainian children coming into local communities & new immigrants attend and experience camp.

4. SUMMER MISSIONARY NEEDS: To enable us to open the waterfront this summer, we     NEED NLS lifeguard(s).  (Pray for 3 of our staff who will try to recertify, but with COVID, having a baby, not lifeguarding/swimming for nearly 3 yrs…they are not feeling in shape or confident. All 3 already have heavy responsibilities this summer—but if they can certify, it would at least enable us to operate the waterfront activities as they can rotate as needed)  We also NEED CABIN LEADERS (Still many vacancies on the girls side, but Brycen is our only male cabin leader so far on the boys side across the summer (except our Jr High session)HEALTH OFFICER/Paramedics, COOKS & Dish crew helpers, JANITORS, MEDIA CO-ORDINATOR.

GOD has NEVER failed us but we long for receptive & obedient hearts to come!

5. HEALTH & SAFETY for all campers, guests & summer missionaries.  That God’s PRESENCE will be evident to everyone who steps on site.  Again, GOD IS ABLE!

Thank you so much for your PRAYERS & PARTNERSHIP.  They are an enormous encouragement and blessing.
