Operation Christmas Child is winding down and support in some regions has gone up significantly.

Dale Armstrong coordinates the shoe box program for the Killarney region.

He says their boxes went out earlier this week and there were a lot more than in 2014.

Armstrong said there was more participation from the Hutterite colonies and the Rock Lake School at Cartwright also got involved for the first time.
