The Saw Mill in Boissevain is the latest recipient of funding from the federal government.

On Friday, Brandon-Souris MP Larry Maguire announced that Prairie Partners would be receiving $50,000 through the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility fund to build accessible washrooms, install a kitchenette and workstation, and improve the lighting for the visual impaired.

Prairie Partners is a community based agency that continues to work for the betterment of the entire community, and in particular, those citizens living with disabilities.

They remain committed to creating opportunities for the people they serve, and seek to be a progressive presence in the region and the province as a whole.

The Enabling Accessibility Fund is a federal grants and contributions program that supports capital costs of construction and renovations related to improving physical accessibility and safety for people with disabilities in Canadian communities and workplaces.
