A 27 year old Winnipeg man faces several charges following a high speed chase on Friday.

Neepawa RCMP have arrested Jesse E Young after an incident near Neepawa on the morning of February 5.

Young has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Flight from police, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, theft and charges under the highway traffic act.

Young remains in custody and will be in court in Brandon on Monday.
