This weekend's Open Garden Tours in Brandon is a chance for gardeners to learn some tips and share ideas with fellow gardening enthusiasts.

Brandon in Bloom will be hosting its Open Garden Tours at 11 locations across the city, including the Victorian Garden at the Daly House Museum.

Rachelle Levesque is the community development programmer for the City of Brandon.

“They're all residential properties, except for the Daly House Museum,” she said. “They are volunteers in the community that choose to participate in the Brandon in Bloom program and open their yards and their gardens for the public to view for the Open Garden Tour. We're really grateful for them to do that. It takes a lot of work – every garden is definitely different and unique and offers something different for everyone to see.”

A free Kick-Off BBQ will be held on Saturday in the Keystone Centre parking lot from 11:30 am to 1 pm.
