Municipal Government Minister Drew Caldwell hopes Manitobans will give the NDP another term in office.

He says the NDP has made huge strides to improve life in Manitoba and they would stay on that track.

"It is universally recognized among serious economists that government infrastructure investment is the key element in economic development and economic growth," he said. "Investment in education, investment in solid infrastructure like roads and bridges, investment in health care and a healthy society, healthy community."

Caldwell says a vote for the Conservatives would be a step backwards.

Manitobans are expected to head to the polls in mid-April.
