A group in Boissevain is trying to get the Relay For Life up and going again at the International Peace Garden.

The relay had taken place south of Boissevain for a number of years before shutting down a few years ago.

Deanna Danielson with the Cancer Society says a planning meeting will take place April 5th.

She says it's all about bringing back the relay

The Canadian Cancer Society will be hosting an open house at the Sawmill on April 5 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Danielson says they are working to get people onto the organizing committee.

The relay for life would take place July 16th.
