An implement dealer has opened a new store in Killarney.

Representatives from Mazergroup gathered in Killarney for the ribbon cutting on Tuesday morning. Mazergroup President and CEO Bob Mazer is pleased with how the new building turned out and hopes their customers will appreciate and like doing business in the new facility as well. “We are a growing company and we came to Killarney 10 years ago and took over an existing facility. We didn't feel it was meeting the needs of our customers and decided to build a new facility. Killarney is a great place to do business, with a real strong farm economy and we felt that the investment in a brand new building for our customers was appropriate.”

Mazergroup has 13 retail outlets across Manitoba and into Saskatchewan. Bob Mazer hopes customers like the new building. “We try to build functional buildings and not for show. We have an enclosed wash bay that if a semi comes in with a combine in the winter we can bring the truck into the building. We've really increased the showroom floor space and have reasonable offices to allow out staff to look after customers.”

Tuesday's ribbon cutting attract some of the New Holland executive team. Abe Hughes is Vice President of New Holland North America. He says the Mazers mean a lot to New Holland. “Well the Mazergroup is Canada for us. They have a great foot print hear in Manitoba. They're among our top dealers in North America. When we put Mazer against any of our dealers, even those in the United States, Mazer comes out on top. So I'm happy to be in Killarney to open the new store as it's really nice to see” said Hughes.
