With Easter and Passover celebrations coming up, residents are urged to stay home and connect online.

Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's Chief Provincial Public Health Officer notes they are beginning to see community transmission of the virus, making social distancing all the more essential.

"We all have this personal responsibility, but it's also an opportunity to interrupt the transmission chain... and the best way to do that is to stay home."

One additional case of COVID-19 brings the total to 204 in the province.

Currently, 11 people are currently hospitalized, including seven in intensive care. 17 individuals have recovered. The total number of deaths remains at two.

Cadham Provincial Laboratory performed 458 tests Sunday. As of April 6, a total of 13,476 tests have been performed.
