The annual Christmas Dinner in Boissevain may not take place this year.

Over the past several years Faith Works and its volunteers have hosted the dinner but not this year. 'We were down to three people doing all the work and it got to be a lot and we also after several years have decided to spend more time doing other things like spending more time with family” said Faith Works member Jim Dickinson.

Each year the meal serves up food and fellowship to about 15 people.

“I really hope a group or individual will step forward to take on the meal. All they have to do is contact me at home or at work and I can lay out the details.”

The Christmas Dinner is aimed at people with no family in the area and no where to go on December 25th.

“If someone doesn't come forward quickly then the meal will not be taking place in 2016.”
