Good news for people wanting to gain entry to Canada through the border crossing south of Cartwright, now they can actually use the facility.

After being closed for several the border crossing in Southwestern Manitoba has re-opened. Several months ago the facility south of Cartwright was closed after asbestos was found in the building.

The Canada Border Services Agency advises travellers that the Cartwright port of entry will reopen on November 2.

Regular hours will resume from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. The port of entry is located on Manitoba Highway 5/North Dakota Highway 4.
