Brandon University has announced that for the first time, it will offer a full-time schedule of first-year university courses in Dauphin.

Students will be able to begin their university or science degree without making the move to Brandon.

Students in Dauphin will learn from on-site instructors with a full-time, regular class schedule, giving them access to much of the academic support that is available at the main Brandon campus.

“With a great selection of courses that are affordable and convenient, this is the best time for a student in the Parkland to start their studies at BU,” said Barry Nadolny, BU"s new Dauphin Coordinator. “You can start your first year of university without needing to also find a new place to live or possibly a new job. And we know that having a support structure of nearby family and friends can help students succeed.”

Courses start this September, 2016, and will run in two terms through April 2017.
