The Royal Manitoba Winter Fair is celebrating its 110th this week with a wide variety of competitions, displays, booths and presentations.  Brandon's winter fair boasts the only royalty-approved agriculture and equestrian show in western Canada. Each day holds a host of riding and team competitions and every evening features a major show jumping class, and pony class, as well as the heavy horse hitch show.

This year the Lord Strathcona Mounted Troop has made its debut with 20 mounted soldiers from the Canadian Armed Forces, dressed in period uniform displaying their precision in horsemanship and strategy.

Hundred of families have been enjoying the Royal Farm Yard with its interactive displays and educational opportunities with many presenters.  One day at the fair is hardly enough to get everything in!
