The two teams who met in the Tiger Hills Hockey League final meet again this weekend at MTS Iceplex in Winnipeg.

The Killarney Shamrocks will renew acquaintances with the Carberry Plainsmen at the Provincial Senior "A" Hockey Championship.

The Shamrocks, who swept the Plainsmen in three straight in the THHL final, went 2-0 in the round robin at the Provincials.

Killarney defeated the North Central Hockey League champion Miniota/Elkhorn C-Hawks 12-1 and the North West Senior Hockey League champion Norway House North Stars 8-2.

Carberry dropped a 4-3 decision to the South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League champion Notre Dame Hawks and beat the Carillon Senior Hockey League champion Ste. Anne Aces 6-2 as Brett Kitt had three goals and an assist.

The semifinals go Saturday as the Shamrocks take on the Plainsmen at 7 p.m. and the Hawks face the North Stars at 7:15 p.m.

The championship game for the Manitoba Cup goes Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
