The Virden Oil Capitals will begin the 2018-2019 Manitoba Junior Hockey League season on Saturday, September 22nd against the Dauphin Kings at Credit Union Place.

The Oil Capitals will play their home opener the following night.

Virden will play 29 games at Tundra Oil & Gas Place and 29 road games.

The Oil Capitals will play a pair of games at the MJHL Showcase at the Seven Oaks Recreation Centre in Winnipeg against the Winkler Flyers on December 11th and the Turnbull Trophy champion Steinbach Pistons on December 12th.

Virden will play its final game before the start of the Christmas break in Dauphin on December 22nd.

The Oil Capitals first game of 2019 is at home on January 3rd against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

The Caps longest homestand of the regular season schedule is from November 8th to the 18th when they play five games against the Winnipeg Blues, Dauphin, Steinbach and two against the OCN Blizzard.

Virden's busiest month is November when the Oil Capitals play 12 games, eight of which are at home.

The regular season finale is March 3rd at Waywayseecappo.
