The Winnipeg Jets won last night by a score of 5-2 over the New York Rangers.

Connor Hellebuyck made his fourth consecutive start and stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced for the win.

The Jets' first two goals came of the stick of Bryan Little, who would later add an assist for a three-point night.

“We were moving, no one was standing still," said Little. " We were all kind moving and feeding off each other, and were getting rewarded for it. I think that’s the most time we spent in the other team’s end in a while, and it’s a lot easier playing the game that way.”

Blake Wheeler also had a multi-point night as he assisted on four of the Jets' five goals.

Wheeler's four points tied a career-high for points in a game.

Tyler Myers, Dustin Byfuglien and Andrew Ladd would net the Jets' other three goals.

Head Coach Paul Maurice talked about the play of his fourth line.

“Some of it is you know on a back-to-back the other team is going to roll four (lines), so your fourth line has a little bit. When they have a really dominant line with a player like Nash sometimes your first line minutes are just tied to whatever their first (line) minutes are. But there was never an ease. I thought Joel Armia did what we had hoped he would do, his hands skills and some of those are in question.  But we was on the puck and he was aggressive in his game. So that’s real exciting for us to see. Matt Halischuk was fantastic in and on the puck. But there is all the other parts of the game.  Playing with two young players, showing the energy level they have to come, even if they miss a rotation or two.  If they sit for four or five minutes they’re going over the boards.  He’s (Pascal Vincent) got them wired to go.  Really happy with that line.”

The Jets next take on the Oilers in Edmonton on Monday night.
