The Winnipeg Jets snapped their seven-game losing streak Wednesday night in Calgary and clinched a berth in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Adam Lowry and Blake Wheeler scored two goals each and Connor Hellebuyck made 32 saves in the Jets 4-0 victory over the Flames.

Wheeler reached 800 career points while Mark Scheifele drew an assist on the Winnipeg captain's third period power play goal and has 500 career points.

Head coach Paul Maurice recorded his 300th win behind the Jets bench.

Winnipeg is in third place in the NHL's North Division.

The Jets (28-21-3) are seven points back of the second place Edmonton Oilers and two points ahead of the fourth place Montreal Canadiens.

Winnipeg has four home games left to finish off the regular season schedule.

The Jets host Ottawa on Saturday.

Winnipeg will then play back-to-back games against the Vancouver Canucks next Monday and Tuesday,

The regular season finale is against the North Division leading Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, May 14th.
