Braden Billaney of the Winkler Flyers has been named the Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Player of the Week.

The 18-year-old Boissevain product showed off his playmaking skills as he recorded one goal and six assists in four games.

His one goal was the game winner Sunday in Virden as Winkler defeated the Oil Capitals 2-1.

Runners up for Player of the Week honours are 18-year-old forward Connor Barley of the Selkirk Steelers and 19-year-old goaltender Brett Epp of the OCN Blizzard.
