Four Western Canada Baseball Championships are underway this weekend.

Five Manitoba teams will be competing in the four tournaments.

The Winkler Diamond dogs PeeWee "AA" team and the Oak River Dodgers Midget team are playing in St. Albert, Alberta.

Winkler defeated Gateway 18-8 in the Provincial finals, while Oak River bounced La Broquerie 15-1.

The South Central PeeWee "AAA" team is in Saskatoon along with the North Winnipeg Pirates after South Central defeated the Pirates 10-9 in the Provincial final.

The Western Canada Junior "AAA" Baseball Championship is taking place in Weyburn.

The Brandon Marlins and the Pembina Valley Orioles will represent Manitoba in Saskatchewan.  The Marlins won the Manitoba Junior Baseball League season while the Orioles qualified through a league qualifying tournament.

All four championships run August 12th to 14th
