The Cartwright Clippers and MacGregor Wild were winners in the Tiger Hills Hockey League Sunday.  Bryce Enns and Tanner Fluker each had two goals and two assists as the Clippers beat Pilot Mound 6-4. Jory Mullin and Jaden Johnson also scored for Cartwright. Chase Desrochers, Juha Keinanen, Max Van de Velde and Riley Patenaude did the goal scoring for the Pilots. The Wild downed the Neepawa Farmers 9-1 at the Yellowhead Centre. MacGregor snapped a three-game losing streak. 


In the Westman High School Hockey League  -  Evan White had three goals and an assist as the Vincent Massey Vikings beat the Swan Valley Tigers 7-2. Reed Houle had two goals and two assists as Sandy Bay edged Crocus Plains 5-4. Hayden O'Hara scored twice for the Plainsmen.


The Southwest Cougars six-game losing skid came to an end Sunday at the Gateway Arena. Ashton Cuvelier had two goals and two assists and Owen LaRocque made 36 saves as Southwest downed the Winnipeg Thrashers 6-1. Ty Plaisier, Luke Mackenzie, Dawson Andries and Nate Robson also scored for the Cougars.


The Westman Wildcats gave up four first period goals and lost 6-4 to the Winnipeg Ice in Hartney. Kelsey Page, Paige Kozak, Makenna Beard and Hayley Kolosky did the goal scoring for the Wildcats.
