The Turtle Mountain Flywheel Club has been enjoying the return of their summer visitors this past month, a welcome relief after being closed for 2 years due to Covid.

Local member, Neil Gow, says the Killarney museum has a wealth of history dating back to the days of stationery engines and the earliest mechanization in the Ag industry.

Gow has been with the Flywheel Club for about 6 years and has enjoyed the restoration process of quite a number of projects.

"This museum has everything from stationery engines, to anything with a flywheel on it," he explains. "I couldn't begin to list all of them there are lots!"

Gow says this museum is about the local history, and the group really enjoys showcasing and restoring machinery that has local family ties to the community.
