Officials with the Keystone Centre in Brandon are hopeful the past year will be a turning point for the facility.

The Centre made a $120,000 profit on its operations during its fiscal year, ending July 31st.

The Memorial Cup along with some new government funding allowed the facility to hit the financial black.

General Manager Dan Robertson admits it will be difficult to repeat that performance this year, but he is optimistic the Keystone can break-even on a year to year basis...

The surplus will be used to pay down the Keystone Centrte's accumulated operating deficit from $165,000 to $43,000.
