M.L.A. Cliff Cullen

Election planning was a big topic during the Manitoba Progressive Conservative party's annual general meeting in Brandon this past weekend.

Turtle Mountain M.L.A. Cliff Cullen says Elections Manitoba made a presentation and updated the party on election rules. He says there was also a fundraising supper which sold out with 350 guests in attendance, and an accountability session where members of the party got to ask questions of the Leader and M.L.A.s.

Cullen adds the clock is ticking as the next provincial election is only 11 months away, he has a few items he will be working on leading up to the election.

Meanwhile, Leader Hugh McFadyen has released issues his party will concentrate on if elected next October, they include improving rural development and reversing the Bi-Pole III decision.  Cullen hopes as the Tories roll out policy it will engage Manitobans and hopefully translate into good voter turnout.
