Voth has been on the board for five years, three of those years were spent as vice-chair. He'll replace outgoing chair Kyle Friesen.

“I am excited to continue all the good work going on here,” says Voth. “We have great momentum right now, providing value back to our producers, expanding our on-farm research, and continuing our progress on value-added processing for soybeans here in Manitoba.”

Prince has been a MPSG board member since 2013.

“We benefited from Jason’s leadership in the Vice-Chair position,” says MPSG Executive Director Francois Labellle. “And now we have the honour of experiencing where his and Frank Prince’s unique, focused, and collaborative skillset will take the Board and the association in 2016. It’s an exciting year for us here. It’s the International Year of Pulses.”

The United Nations have declared 2016 the International Year of Pulses.
