A former Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP) president has accepted a position with the Canadian Grain Commission.

According to the Government of Canada website, Doug Chorney of East Selkirk has been appointed to fill the role of assistant chief commissioner.

Saskatchewan's Lonny McKague has been selected to fill the commissioner role.

Both appointments will begin on February 13th.

They'll join Canola Council of Canada President Patti Miller, who will be taking over the role of chief commissioner.
