As always, Canadian Western Agribition attracted a large number of international visitors to Regina this week.

Glen Waldron and Kim Gromer are visiting from Australia, where they run an operation of about 120 purebred charlois and simmentals.

They first came to Agribition three years ago to look for new genetics to implement into their breeding program, and Kim says they were very pleased with them.

"We think that the Canadian genetics have a lot to offer the Australian industry and that's why we've decided to select them from here because there's not a great genetic base in terms your red and black simmentals back in Australia."

Glen added Agribition is a great place to find the best in livestock genetics anywhere in the world.

"You find the best of the best in Canada at Agribition every year," he said. "It's a very good place to come, meet new breeders, look for new genetics just to take back home that you can implement into your own programs back at home."

Canadian Western Agribition wraps up on Saturday.
